Could Clooney be more glum throughout an entire film? And what is this pretend piece of gum he's supposedly chewing.... is that supposed to project some toughness that isn't otherwise present? Another audience critic had this perfectly correct, and I felt the same: it's a great film as a cure to insomnia.
