Review of The American (2010) by Ken C — 06 Dec 2011
I've repeatedly heard this movie described as a suspenseful thriller, but I did not find it remotely suspenseful or thrilling. In fact, the best word to describe it was boring. Sure, the cinema-lovers will herald the beautiful cinematography, but is that really worth anything when there is basically no plot? I couldn't even make it to the end of this one.
