The Amazing Spider-Man was a great movie. I would give it a 8.3. You can really see the character development in characters like Peter, his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's dad. All learning to help out in a way even though they might be scared.
Also, the story is a little generic, but that really is only a little bit. This reboot brings back Spider-Man in a good way after Spider-Man 3. If you liked 2 and 2 you should see this one.
