The big amount of underdeveloped characters and subplots in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro', and its consequent flaws in cohesion of the scenes, are noticeable. All of the stories, however, are excellent on their own (the climax above all) and are helped by its cast's magnificent performances (with Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Dane DeHaan standing out) and its colourful, detailed and engaging special effects; all of it serving as a light improvement over its predecessor.
