Review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) by Caz H — 06 Feb 2015

I did find this really enjoyable and entertaining overall: Garfield and Stone are almost too cute and quirky together and there were some strong emotional moments and a great performance from Dane Dehaan.

There was definitely a lot going on with the plot, almost too much, and very little was wrapped up in the end, with the Electro aspect feeling particularly poorly handled at times. I also felt like this film had too many villains syndrome, although not quite to the extreme of Spiderman 3.

Quite a lot of faults but I still ended the film feeling emotional and ready for the next instalment.
