I don't care how "accurate" this movie was trying to be to the comic - the death of Gwen was both shocking & did absolutely no favours for this movie. Apart from that it was your pretty typical spidey-saving-people-from-a-villain-wreaking-havoc-in-NYC & all the complicated family issues in-between.

I feel like we need to stop recycling this franchise & cover some new ground.
