Review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) by Roger M — 07 Jan 2015

Despite the hate this movie is getting with most comparing it to the likes of Spider-Man 3 and Batman and Robin there is much more to it's character. The story is a lot deeper and not just another campy super hero flick.

It feels very much like a Spider-Man film should and that's all thanks to the actors and their performances plus Marc Webb's directing. He did well with what the studio may have shoved down his throat and forced on him.

I hope Sony makes the right decision to continue head on with The Amazing Spider-Man series using much of the same creative team at the helm because I'm not ready to give up on this yet!
