Review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) by Damon S — 14 Nov 2015
Overall this was a decent sequel to "The Amazing Spider Man" but fell short in some areas. The writing was decent and the main character development was presented well from the first film. It was interesting to see how they tied in Peter's father's story with the main film.
Other characters were not presented well at all. "Electro" was totally re-made and takes hardly anything from the comics. The "Rhino" was also a horrible adaptation and a huge disappointment.
Harry Osbourn was the only new character that was done well. Dane did a good job with the character. The writing was complimentary and appropriate. Spider-man's costume is spot on and overall, excellent.
Though some parts of the movie were a little too long and could have been cut short. Overall it was a decent sequel.
