Review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) by Jonathan S — 11 Mar 2015

Amazing Spider-Man 2 isn't really THAT amazing. First of all, the costume of Spider-Man looks great and more accurate to the comics that Raimi's trilogy. Plus, the chemistry between Andrew and Emma is great. But everything else is not really that great other than the things listed above. My review of the story itself is mixed. I don't know whether it's good or bad, just mixed. Then, Dane Dehaan's portrayal as the Green Goblin. First of all, Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin was better in my opinion, though Dehaan's version is more accurate other than Norman was the REAL FIRST Goblin. It's more accurate in a way that Goblin [In both comics and this film] discovers Peter's secret life and kills the one he loves. Great work, Mark Webb, though you could've done better.
