Not quite amazing or spectacular. Nor was it superior to the first. It was adequate. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had a lot of good points, but suffers from a crowded plot and narrative. Fell into the trap of Spider-Man 3, cramming to much plot which watered down the development of multiple villains.
Pending on Guardians of the Galaxy, this is my letdown movie of the year. However, it did have a lot of stylistic choices I did like.
