This movie looked pretty boring to me untill I actually watched it. Then I couldn't help but be drawn in. Dennis Quaid as Sam Houston is perfect. All characters, including minor ones, are well developed.
And even though america loses in this one, the heroism thats portrayed still makes you cheer.
