Review of The Alamo (2004) by Michael T — 19 Jan 2009
Without the mawkishness and sentimentality that marred Wayne's 1960 film on the same subject. Historically, much closer to the real Alamo. If the Mexicans had left a small force to contain Travis, Crockett, Bowie et-al in the Alamo and went after Sam Houston before he had time to organize, Texas would not be an American state and the 43rd president may not have happend.
Think about it.
