Review of The Alamo (2004) by Justin O — 20 Sep 2009
An enjoyable portrayal of the moving events we remember as the Alamo, but somehow it falls short of a lasting impression. There is emotion here, but no substance; there isn't much holding it up. Still, it has my favor (and I deeply appreciate that it didn't cave in to political correctness; a rarity and a treat, especially from Hollywood).
