Review of The Alamo (2004) by Claire R — 21 Nov 2006
This film really disappointed me. The acting was a little over-the-top (or maybe that's just my bias talking: I've never liked Dennis Quaid), and the direction is really lethargic and uninspiring.
I never cared for any of the characters. It seemed like the director only focused on the battles and other action scenes, not on the characters and story. I felt like I was watching a video game. This film is very forgettable and I won't be watching it again.
Not recommended.
