It is what it is - a sentimental, flag-waving telling of the events of the Battle of the Alamo. It's always interesting to watch a film based on well-known events, such that the film has only so much leeway and you know the fate of the protagonists.
Still, this film manages to entertain with its colourful characters and patriotic bravado. If you have time to waste on a Sunday afternoon, you may think it worth a viewing.
