Review of The Air I Breathe (2007) by Jon W — 17 Aug 2008
The narrative style of the film was good and the acting wasn't bad, the movie as a whole was lacking. The story itself seemed to be stretching to connect all the stories into one coherent plot. In the end, the only thing I could think was that two men died and one man almost through his life away so that one woman could lead a new life.
As a whole, I think this movie was going for a much deeper meaning, but missed the target completely. I for one am not sure how me being shot a dozen times on the roof of a high-rise building would give me the release to happiness, but then again, who am I to judge.
