Review of The Air I Breathe (2007) by Lucas Y — 14 Oct 2008
Interesting but flawed intertwining of 4 different but connected tales.
Forest Whitakers tale starts the film well but is too rushed and its climax comes to quickly. The beginning of Brendan Fraser's story is also relatively interesting but soon descends into a predictable romance. After this the film feels like it loses its way and I certainly lost my interest in it.
The stories do intertwine quite well the film just failed to make me care about any of the characters (except Whitaker's).
Could have been so much better.
