A fantastic take on the issues surrounding global warming, but told in a new way with a new slant on it. Mixing the fictional future with events that are actually happening in todays world. I especially loved the cartoon/song about the hardship[ of choosing between bottled or tap water. The look at Shell's involovment in Nigeria and the dreadful humans rights abuses there really moved me, probably because it relate around of a lot of what I already knew about anyway through my dissertation and amnesty involvement. The look at the Iraq refugees and the lives of the two children was also pretty tough to watch - the scene with them playing at shooting here delivered exactly what it was suppose to - of course it horrified us to see such young children making a game over such horrific actions.

I also thought the director did a good job of setting up the lady leading the campaign against the windfarm at Bedford as a villianous character. Not only was she annoying and hypocritical but she was also flat out stupid and I couldn't help hoping her home would get serverly damaged in a serious flood.

Well worth a wach and extremely thought provoking. It does a good job of explaining the real root of the problem of global warming, particularly with consumerism and the fact oil companies are pretty much made up of members of America's government.
