Review of The Age of Innocence (1993) by Jerome B — 05 Jul 2008

I've seen lots of good movies lately, I was wondering when I might break away from the 4 and 4 1/2 star ratings.

I did like this movie, but perhaps since I haven't read the book I liked it less than I should have. It's a little long-winded and not as passionate as I would have expected, being about hidden romances and whatnot. There are some beautiful shots though and Winona's costumes are stunning. Daniel Day-Lewis portrays a very stiff and somber character, but looks really good while doing it. :).
