Review of The Age of Innocence (1993) by Andy P — 31 May 2013
Scorsese, known for his audacious and fast-moving storytelling has here directed a slow (perhaps unfortunately slightly on the long winded side) period romance, one that is truly a visual feast as one would expect from the auteur, and one that is bolstered by grand performances, but just not quite as entertaining or convincing as it perhaps should be.
