Sometimes I can't see why some movies are so well-regarded. This is one of them. It's a good movie but there is nothing great about it. Katherine Hepburn is ok and Bogart is great. Bogart won Best Actor for this performance which astounds me.
He was good but that year he was up against Marlo Brando(A Streetcar named Desire) which everyone says is one of the most influential acting roles ever. The academy was dumb as shit back then...but I digress.
I really wasn't into this until the last 40 or so minutes. It has a good ending but I still didn't feel like Hepburn and Bogart had chemistry. Whatever...
