Review of The Adventures of Tintin (2011) by Reid S — 22 Sep 2012
The Adventures of Tintin is fun, yet flawed movie with a talented cast.
Downs- This movies story is a bit confusing, at least for the younger audience, which it aims for. I also feel like it copies off of the Uncharted series, because of the grand adventure, and destructive action-sequences. The object/s that they're looking for seem like some-of the things they search for in Uncharted 3, but I can't blame them, because this is the closest they will probably get to making an Uncharted movie.
Ups- Tintin is loads of fun when it comes to action. The scene where it takes place on a Pirate ship is one of the coolest action sequences I have seen in an animated movie. I also like all of the characters. Daniel Craig plays a stellar s villain and Jamie Bell plays a good protagonist Tintin. I also like Andy Serkis in this film, who we all know as the master of motion capture acting. Snowy is also a fun character sidekick dog. The adventure is grand and fun, that's about all I have to say about the film.
Overall Fun movie with some minor flaws that can be overlooked 7.5/10.
