Review of The Adventures of Tintin (2011) by Clint C — 01 Jan 2013
Herge was a childhood hero. I sought after every single graphic novel he'd published (all 23). To have them translated onto the silver screen with Jackson and Spielberg on-board was like a dream come true.
Of course it wouldn't be a Spielberg involvement without John William for soundtrack too. Truly a cinematic dream team. They did well, very well. Only criticism being the pacing in parts and possibly dial back the chattiness (get on w.
the plot). Overall a great 1st attempt with the adaptation. I'm definitely looking forward to more. Now to dig up those old graphic novels.
