Review of The Adventures of Tintin (2011) by Carla H — 07 Nov 2014
Now I find this a strange movie, sometimes amazing and sometimes downright lazy in its development, which seems to be the fault of the source material, actually. What struck me, however, is the quality of the rendering; it is almost too realistic, cleanly animated, even filtered with lens flares.
Certainly best enjoyed when seen in 3D, but that is not to say it's fun. Okay, this may be a fun movie, but unfortunately not a funny one.
