Review of The Adventures of Tartu (1943) by Greg W — 04 Mar 2009
Robert Donat, Valerie Hobsen and Glynis Johns help keep this espionage thriller entertaining. At the same time though, the grim behind enemy lines setting (interesting focus on wartime Czechoslovakia) doesn't always mix well with the lighter elements.
Overall though it remains unique and suspenseful and is worthwhile, especially if you enjoy the leads.
