Review of The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle (2000) by Cheri H — 11 Apr 2009
The Adventures of Rocky Bullwinkle brings those two beloved characters (along with their 3 nemesis') to the real live-action world...well, sorta. Robert De Niro (as Fearless Leader), Jason Alexander (as Boris), and Rene Russo (as Natasha; hot) come to our world to turn everyone into zombies, so FBI Agent Karen Sympathy brings the two title characters to stop them by embarking on a wacky road trip to their evil lair in New York City.
With a gigantic cast such as this, you would think this film would have been big (or awesome for that matter), but no. Instead, it's very annoying and very stupid. Robert De Niro should be ashamed for re-stating his infamous monologue from Taxi Driver in a supposedly comical moment.
The film started out great when it was an actual cartoon and should have stayed that way. Ultimately, this was embarrassing to watch. I recommend this to either very young children (under 10) or mentally retarded folk.
