Review of The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle (2000) by Mike L — 10 Sep 2009
Anyone who says that this "stays true to the original cartoon" was not alive in the 60's and has never seen the original show, never.
The only thing that remains are the names and that Rocky and Bullwinkle are cartoons. Other than that this has none of the puns, wit, humor, or satire from the original. This, other than the animation and live-action interaction has no redeeming quality, well the endlessly cute Piper Perabo counts, in the year of Piper Perabo, but all the big name stars who signed on to do this, in a wave of nostalgia, I am sure regretted it after day 1 on the set.
By all means bypass this boring, half-hearted, flop of a movie.......get the box sets of the original instead.
