Review of The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) by Julio C — 03 Dec 2007
"Simplistic" instead of "cheesy" is a better description of the film. The producers were trying to create the essence of a fairy-tale and they surpassed it with "flying colors.
" The film's innocence is it's biggest strength, making it the most charming, swashbuckling, action adventure film of Hollywood's Golden Age.
