Review of The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) by Andrea A — 08 Oct 2008

What a fantastic film in the time honored ( if not neglected of late ) tradition of pure fun. They don't make movies like this, essentially, at all any more and it's a true shame. A cast where everybody pulls their weight and does their job well. Hero or villain it matters not, they came to entertain and they do so in superb swashbuckling fashion. The casting is flawless as far as I'm concerned, the costumes, the dialogue, the romance, the humor, all work as one to bring home a five star cinematic experience.

**Also, I dare any female with a pulse to come out of this movie without even the slightest bit of a crush on Errol Flynn.
