Review of The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) by Liam U — 20 Mar 2009
Impressive considering the age of this film. There is some inspired cinematography, especially during the climactic sword fight. There is also a decent amount of (mostly unintentional) humour to be found here.
The acting is all fine and the score is nothing spectacular. The sound quality during crowd scenes unfortunately dips and it can sometimes be hard to make out what characters are saying, but apart from that this is a relatively enjoyable and interesting film.
