Probably the textbook definition of the Hollywood swashbuckler, The Adventures of Robin Hood can't be topped for sheer Technicolor fun. Probably Flynn's greatest role, he's helped out by a brilliant supporting cast, with Rains and Rathbone as two of the screen's best villians, Prince John and Guy of Gisbourne.
Korngold's score sets just the right tone, and Curtiz keeps the plot moving at a rousing pace. Great entertainment for all ages.
