Oh how I love this film. I love it even more since they remastered it and it's now available on Blue Ray. I first watched it with my Dad, shared it with my kids and today, I watched it with my Dad again.
You can't beat the handsome Errol Flynn as Robin Hood, the beautiful Olivia de Haviland as Marion and the Eeevil Basil Rathbone and Claude Rains.... Gosh I think they are just the best cast for Robin Hood Ever.
Korngold's music stays with you long after you've finished watching the movie. (Korngold was one of the most brilliant movie composers who have ever worked in Hollywood, in my opinion.) The script, editing and costumes are brilliant.
This movie has everything you could want in a family film and then some.The colours and definition in this new remastered version defy description. Sometimes it's really nice to be able to watch films on a huge screen.
This Robin Hood is one of my favourite films of all time.
