Review of The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) by Amanda C — 11 Jun 2012
It's hokey, and a tad ridiculous, but it's a great deal of fun. Errol Flynn plays it over the top which works nicely with the overall fun loving tone of the film. The cinematography is exquisite and sword fighting this good is few and far between and for that alone any shortcomings elsewhere can be forgiven.
