Ok, it gets extra points because it had a great deal of my favorite things:
1. Poop on a necklace.
2. Romantacizing an almost random pop star.
3. fabulous costumes (yeah, I went there).
4. ABBA. There is no good reason for anyone to love ABBA, and yet, I hear Momma Mia and I'm instantly happy.
Plus I found the characters likeable and interesting. It didn't go into a great deal of depth with them, but I also like it when movies defy conventions, and kids tend to fall into the worse conventions possible.
