Review of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) by Elliot G — 04 Oct 2008
The movie I want to see is a scene where Stephan Elliott and crew convince Terence Stamp to play a transsexual. That would probably be more entertaining than this movie, which isn't to say it's bad: the musical numbers are fun and colorful, as are the costumes and environment, but there seems to be an unnecessary effort to inject story elements that don't really pertain to anything specific.
All road movies have to have the "stops", so to speak, but those in this film are largely uninteresting.
