LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie! I loved the relationship between these three friends and the challenging obstacles they encountered on their journey through Australia. They traveled on their personal bus that they named Priscilla. Terence Stamp plays Bernadette, a classy mothering transsexual. As the movie goes on, Terence is so convincing as a woman that I begin to believe he is one. He's no longer some guy actor playing a woman...he is A WOMAN. An amazing performance! Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce play drag queens quite convincingly as well. They were so convincing in their roles that when I saw Hugo Weaving in The Matrix as Mr. Smith, I was shocked he could be so manly! Same goes for Guy Pearce when I saw him in later movies. As for the story, they meet quite a few interesting characters along the way who really add that extra touch to the movie. Definitely a must see...great actors and a story you are sure to enjoy. I know I truly did!
Oh, and let's not forget that this was filmed in Australia...it's visually stimulating as well.
