Review of The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002) by Muffin M — 16 Feb 2013
It's 2087, the earth is history and the moon is the new 'wild west' - a lawless, gun-toting hotbed of corruption, vice and sin.
Pluto Nash (Eddie Murphy) is the fasttalking owner of the hottest hip-hop club in the lunar stratosphere. It's a place where anything can happen and usually does. Enter a space-travelling gangster determined to take control of Pluto's club... before he takes-over the entire moon.
Battling the mob with a wise-ass attitude and the help of an obsolete android bodyguard called Bruno (Randy Quaid), a soul diva (Rosario Dawson) and an admiring fan (Luis Guzman) Pluto Nash is about to become a new breed of space-age hero.
Also stars Joe Pantoliano, Jay Mohr, James Rebhorn, Peter Boyle and Burt Young.
Directed by Ron Underwood.
