Review of The Adventures of Milo and Otis (1986) by Bill T — 12 Dec 2008

Predictably manipulative, cloyly narrated, poorly structured, this movie follows a dog and a cat as they go on an adventure (well, one of them gets lost, the other one tries to find him) and it continues on and on, one wacky predicament after another it seems, til it's ultrabizarre conclusion - Huzzah for families! This film has been the subject of rampant speculation about animal cruelty (which got me to see the film actually) and damn, they do have a strong case, Poor kitty!
