Definitely a classic. Before all the later knockoffs, this is a great childrens' story with tons of uber cute animals and a plot with just enough "peril" to keep the kids watching.
Still trying to figure out where that giant hole in the ground came from.....heh. In all seriousness, this movie definitely will be loved by kids and anyone else who has a love for animals. As for myself, I suppose I have new respect for pugs now, who knew they can fight off black bears by themselves?
