Review of The Adventures of Milo and Otis (1986) by Sebastian M — 03 Feb 2011
I love "Milo and Otis." It makes me...nostalgic. I feel that I would enjoy it more these days, as an adult.
"The Adventures of Milo and Otis" tells the story of a cat and a dog who were born on a farm. They became the best of friends while they were growing up. One day they decide to play hide and seek on the farm. Milo, the cat, finds the perfect hiding place: a box on the river. He hides in it and is eventually found by Otis, the dog. But just as that happens, the box begins to float down the river. Thus starts Milo's journey into the unknown and Otis's journey to save Milo.
"Milo and Otis" is a good story about the friendship of children and the distance of adults. It's great for kids, but also means a little more for adults. If you have kids of your own, I suggest watching this.
