Review of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) by Anney S — 13 Mar 2009
Its all good and interesting; it certainly keeps ones attention with the zaniness and imagination, but part of the problem I have with gilliams movies in general that they seem to suggest that there are people that are superior to others.
but enough of that, the cast is pretty good: john neville is fun, eric idle is always funny, an early performance of sarah polley, oliver reed is particularly entertaining, jonathan pryce does a great evil bureaucrat, and robin williams even.
fun movie, if a bit unsympathetic.
