Carl Hieronymous Baron von Munchausen (John Neville) leads us to one of the most vibrantly off-the-wall fantasies in a good while. Gilliam was the perfect choice to direct this classic story. Also check out Czech filmmaker Karel Zeman's version of "Baron Munchausen" from 1961, it's no less amazing.
