Review of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) by Nate G — 12 Apr 2012

This was a great mix of fantasy and comedy. Sort of a poor man's Princess Bride. The adventure was really entertaining, as were the characters, who were equal parts creative and absurd. It was kind of a kid's movie at times, but Gilliam did a nice job blending in some adult humor.

The low budget didn't hurt it too much, in fact it almost highlighted the fantasy theme that carried the movie. Definitely a fun one to watch.
