Review of The Adjustment Bureau (2011) by Phil T — 15 May 2013
It's a nice story, but that's as far as it can go. The religious connotations are a bit heavy handed, but irrespective of that it's tough to really feel for the characters beyond the basic premise of them being star-crossed and fated to meet despite outside forces.
A dancer and a congressman are hardly the easiest people to relate to, although the first half hour makes a fairly decent stab at it.
