Spoilt by a lack of conviction in where the central premise is leading, resisting going all-out with it's quasi-religeous undertone but never being convincing science fiction either (people use a simple item of clothing to teleport themselves for example - not exactly The Matrix).

Matt Damon is of course very watchable, but his admittedly gorgeous sidekick Emily Blunt channels Eva Green's performance as Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale so convincingly it's almost eerie in a stalker-ish kind of way. How much did she watch Green's performance to get it so spot-on? Or are they related? Or clones? Either way, even for this reviewer her pouting became boring after an hour-or-so (she's even pouting in the poster, looking at it now. Cheer up love, the new Bond film is out next month!).

Low on thrills (unless people running through endless doorways is your thing), it's lightweight stuff with a meandering love story that will satisfy an undemanding, probably mostly female crowd. For everyone else, there are much better examples out there.
