Review of The Adjustment Bureau (2011) by Wayne C — 30 Dec 2012
Oh Matt Damon, this movie is an obvious attachment onto the moral and psychological film genre and is trying to latch on and ride the popularity wave of Inception and in my view fails. From the outset we know that the girl will be his and everything will be fine, and to be honest that is not what ultimately ruins this movie, its the acting.
Damon is ok as Senator Norris , but seems a little dull and Emily Blunt is, well pathetic with a character which will at the drop of a pin follow a man who has left her a t a hospital just because he babbles about a blooming hat and doors which open, she not only does this, but also leaves her groom at the altar.
This movie is for me only saved by Terence Stamps gruff acting, making him the best character in this predictable inception wannabe.
