Review of The Adjustment Bureau (2011) by Filippo S — 18 Feb 2013
Blunt and Damon are charismatic but cannot convince us of their destined union largely for the piss poor script. The story may have been original when PK Dick wrote it, but since Fringe's Observers and The Matrix's Agents, Oracle, and Architect have infected the mainstream, the Adjustment Bureau seems like the poor knock-off rather than the original.
The story and cinematography were also far too conventional to capture the paranoid claustrophobia of Dick's original.
Terence Stamp is brilliant, as always.
