Review of The Adjustment Bureau (2011) by Scott W — 17 Aug 2013
There is a lot going on here, but at heart it's a love story. The best thing about the movie is the chemistry between David and Elise. You can understand why David is so desperate to see her again.
As with a lot of movies that deal with such an intricate premise like the Bureau it's easy to find holes in the plot. But it's a pretty fun ride. John Slattery has the perfect mix of slime and charm, much like his Roger Sterling in Mad Men.
It has some aspects that reminded me of The Truman Show. While it is nowhere near as good as that movie, The Adjustment Bureau is worth watching.
