Based on a Black and white series during the 60's it was the Munsters constant rival. The Addams family are morbid, gothic and kooky. Your not quite exact on what they are,with a graveyard as a backyard, cousin "IT" who's covered head to toe in hair,2 childern that attempt unstable or impractiable ways to play.
A crazy grandmama and both parents are always fooling around while talking in French. It really is a household of kooks and crazy mayhem, very entertaining, I enjoy the movie that oddly enough brought back a series, in cartoon every saturday morning for childern.
