Review of The Addams Family (1991) by Brandon W — 09 Nov 2014
I actually never seen any of the Addams Family stuff like their shows or animated shows, so I basically came in to watch the movie not knowing who they are, and I only thing I remember about the Addams Family is the theme song.
When I watch it, it was an amazing movie and it really felt like The Addams Family despite not knowing about them. The cast for The Addams Family is perfect, all of the family members are memorable, and they did a fantastic job at it.
The jokes are dark, but very hilarious, and there's some memorable scenes in it too. The chemistry between Gomez and Morticia Addams is amazing and you can definitely tell that they are husband and wife.
While it's not perfect with the plot not being as strong and the CGI being a little obvious, the movie is a grand introduction to the Addams Family if people have never seen any of the shows.
